IBSF Sandwich Panels has the following properties and characteristics:

1) THERMAL TRANSMITTANCE
The most important property of IBSF Sandwich Panels is it's thermal transmittance of U Factor, this the quantity of heat in W/M2 oC flowing through 1 M2 of panel in 1 hr. when there is a difference of temperature of 1 oC between the air temperature on each side of the Sandwich Panels.

"Table A" below gives the comparative 'U-Factors'  of IBSF Wall Panels of different thickness, and "Table B" gives the 'U-Factor' of 70 mm thick Sandwich Panels as compared to other building materials.

5)CHEMICAL RESISTANCE

The IBSF Sandwich Panels are insect and vermin proof.  They have a high resistance to acids and alkalis, household greases, stain and detergent. They are imperable to moisture vapor and are resistant to salt spray and the like.

The EPS Core manufactured by IBSF is self extinguishing, the steel skin has an excellent fire rating.

The structural sufficiency of IBSF Sandwich Panel Structures conforms to the latest relevant International Standard Codes of Practice for wind loading, dead load, and live load, where in conjunction with the Panel Structure the use of structural steel has been developed. Conforming to all applicable International Codes for concrete buildings where in conjunction with Panel Structure the used of concrete works has also been developed.
